1. What is something new you’ve done because you are under coronavirus self-quarantine?
Watching more of the local and national news. Things are moving so fast and there is so many things are posted online, on social media and other places that either are not true or highly exaggerated. I try to read and listen to a lot to try to get a more balanced view. The only person I don’t listen to is Donald Trump.
2. What three habits have improved your life?
Sleeping more, trying to find a balance in the serious stuff with joy and laughter, and reluctantly listening to my doctors. The last part is easier now because I have much better doctors.
3. What really makes you angry?
Selfish people. I get livid when I see people do things because they think they are entitled, but others are not. We are all in this together. It’s not about just one person. We have to watch out for each other.
4. What is the craziest thing you’ve seen somebody do in the workplace?
I’m retired so I don’t work, but the craziest thing I’ve done recently is have four screens up…. The TV, my desktop, my laptop and my cell phone. I’m just so thrilled to have all of this technology, and it took me a long time to get it all, I want to use it all at once.
5. What is something that everyone looks stupid doing?
I don’t like to judge people like that because it’s just so judgmental. Who am I to decide if someone looks stupid? I may not agree with something that someone is doing or wearing, but who says I’m right? Now if you are talking about behavior or attitude, that’s something different.
Bonus: If you were in a band, what kind of music would you play?
Without a doubt, classic rock. I would be an excellent guitar player and wonderful singer. You all are lucky that it’s only in my imagination that this happens.
